E-mail Correspondence

I was waiting on an e-mail from Francesca Davies of the Our Happy Place Partnership as we had discussed when I could expect the rest of the content and it was a week overdue when I received correspondence on the 9th of January:

Hi Helen and Billy,

Happy New Year!

I was planning to distribute the OHP annual report at the end of March at a local meeting. This meeting has now moved forward to 12th March due to the chair’s holiday plans.
Do you think we could have the final report by this date please? Or if not perhaps a final electronic copy by then to distribute over email?

Many thanks, Francesca

This wasn't the e-mail that I was expecting to receive and was a little demoralised, as it is only six days until the module deadline. It seems that I will have to hand in a mostly unfinished document, even though I will be able to work on it for a further two months for the clients, and this is a worry in terms of grading.

However, on the 11th of January I received another e-mail:

Hi Billy,

·         Please find an updated version of the copy attached.
·         I have an idea to include a ‘mind map’ of the project – a bit like page 12 of the presentation attached but I have not got round to plotting it yet.
·         I am also waiting results of a resident survey that I am due to get end of Jan so I might have to insert a few results from this survey at last minute.
·         Please let me know when you are ready to source images and we can have a go at that.

There are a few new things in this email so please feel free to ring/email me with questions if you have concerns or happy to meet with you also.

Kind regards, Fran

Now, with just four days until the module deadline, I have more of the report content which includes elements that have not been previously discussed and am worried about how this will affect the layout that I currently have.

I am not sure whether to try and adapt it now to include whatever new content there is, or look to finish the original copy and then change parts of it when I have all the information I need. Most of the report from the Local Priorities section onwards is completely different to what I had already worked on, and with just a few days to meet the deadline I do not have enough time to complete this.
