First Draft

I received the first draft of the copy text for the Annual Report and was able to read it through and get a better idea of the nature of the report and what is expected of the design. In places the draft is very thorough, such as the front cover where the title is specified, as is the use of the 'Our Happy Place' logo and that of Worcester City Council. However, at this stage there is still copy missing in areas such as the foreword so it is difficult to get a grasp of the length of the report.

The main thing that caught my eye in the draft copy was the volume of data that they wanted to be displayed in the form of charts and graphs, and immediately I knew that I wanted to make good use of infographics and iconography within the report.
